Adjacent to the headquarters of Marive Transport we find the San Giuliano Park, also called the green lung of Venice and Mestre. The park was inaugurated in May 2004, the architect Antonio di Mambro managed to create one of the most beautiful urban parks in Europe and the 19th largest park in the world.

Already in 2004 there was talk of the desire to double the park and finally a few days ago the official news arrived: thanks to an agreement between the Municipality of Venice and the Public Works Authority of Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige and Friuli the project will become reality. The park currently covers an area of 74 hectares, which, thanks to the project, will almost double and at the same time environmental restoration, recovery, return to civic use, maintenance and excavation of the canals will also be planned.

Once the work is finished, we will all have the great opportunity to immerse ourselves even more in nature, admire the splendid Venice lagoon from the shore of the park and stroll in the vast green area that reaches Campalto.
