Also this year the exciting and unique Carnival of Venice is coming to an end.
There is no doubt that the Venice carnival is one of the most famous Italian carnivals and attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world.
The Carnival of Venice is an appointment that has been repeated annually for over nine hundred years and which sees celebrations throughout the city and in the surrounding areas which, for the occasion, have hosted important parades of masked floats in recent days.
Even the Carnival, like all holidays, after about 2 weeks of celebrations dedicated to free expression and creativity, is drawing to a close with just as many great celebrations in which you can take part tomorrow, Shrove Tuesday.
Among the celebrations scheduled for Shrove Tuesday we find various entertainment alternatives including:
The possibility of attending the presentation in Piazza San Marco of the Maria del Carnevale 2023;
From 10:00 to 17:00 in Piazza San Marco the Most Beautiful Mask Competition will take place which – in the traditional scenographic installation aimed at enhancing the people who have paraded in costume in the last two weeks – will see a real catwalk dedicated to masks who will parade during the competition.
The special opening of all the Civic Museums which for the occasion will set up creative workshop activities dedicated to families with children and teenagers.
The beauty of the Carnival is naturally also that of getting lost in the calli of Venice admiring the glimpses and the most hidden places discovering the masks that until tomorrow will be walking around the city undisturbed.
With Marive Transport you will find parking and the ferry included in the All Inclusive formula that will allow you to reach the historic center of Venice directly from the mainland.
