Last night in Venice the first nocturnal lifting of the Mose gates was successful, the latter made it possible to face a 129 centimeter tide and to reduce the water level in the city by up to 54 centimeters making it remain dry.
This is the first experiment in the history of Venice, moreover the weather conditions of today will be a fundamental test to verify the functionality of the Mose for 40 consecutive hours.
