How to reach the Venice Film Festival 2025 from the mainland

From Wednesday 27 August to Saturday 6 September 2025, the Lido di Venezia will host the 82nd edition of the Venice International Film Festival, directed by Alberto Barbera and organised by La Biennale di Venezia, as per tradition.

How to reach the Film Festival in one day:

If you visit the Festival between 09:00 and 22:35:

Book the all-inclusive service online, which includes parking and navigation, choosing the cash payment option. Once you arrive at the Marive car park in San Giuliano, go to the information point to request the Linea Rosa + Linea Blu supplementary ticket. This ticket will allow you to easily reach the Film Festival with a round trip: you will depart from San Giuliano towards Venice with the Pink Line, then continue towards the Lido with the Blue Line, changing at Fondamente Nove.

Once you arrive at the Lido di Venezia, at the Santa Maria Elisabetta stop, you can choose to continue by bus or reach the Festival with a pleasant twenty-minute walk.

To return, simply go back to the same stop, Santa Maria Elisabetta, and board the Blue Line again. Once you arrive at Fondamente Nove, you can continue on the Pink Line, which will take you back to the car park. The service runs until 10:35 p.m., allowing you a comfortable and worry-free return.
