It would seem that in 1172, when the columns of San Marco and San Teodoro arrived in Venice, there was also a third: the famous lost column with the doge’s symbol.
The column has never been placed on the San Marco pier as, during the unloading operations, it fell into the water and was never recovered.
Roberto Padoan, long-time captain, inventor and diver, obtained the authorizations to start the search for the famous lost column, this came to the ear of Andrea Fusco, director and visual artist who, having always been fascinated by the mystery that surrounds the city of Venice decided to contact those directly involved to document the fact that the mystery of the lost column will soon become a docu-film.
